Smart Aisle®

The hot aisle / cold aisle configuration is a best practice solution that separates hot and cold air streams. This method raises the temperature of the air returning to a computer room air conditioning unit (CRAC), allowing the unit to operate more efficiently.
 
 However, without a physical barrier, you can still have surround and bypass air, which can result in unacceptably high air temperatures for servers at the top of racks and at the ends of aisles.
 
 SmartRow is available in three to six rack configurations for up to 20 kW total  capacity; and configurations of six to ten racks for up to 36 kW of total capacity. The  solution allows the flexibility to start small and expand over time.
